Congratulations to all of our 2026 Opportunity Class (OC) Test students!
The OC Test is an important milestone for many Year 4 students, bringing together months of learning, preparation and hard work. We’re incredibly proud of all our students who took on the challenge and gave the test their best.
This year, our students achieved over 140 OC offers and reserve list placements, with 365 subject results in the top 10–15% across Reading, Mathematical Reasoning and Thinking Skills. These results reflect the hard work and progress of our students throughout their preparation.
Throughout their preparation, our students showed great commitment and persistence, continually building their skills and confidence along the way. We’re also grateful to the families and teachers who have supported them throughout their OC journey.

How we support our OC students
Every student’s OC preparation journey is different. We aim to provide the guidance, resources and encouragement they need to build confidence and make steady progress.
Small Classes: With around 8 students per class, our tutors can give each student more individual attention, encourage active participation and identify areas where they may need additional support.
Experienced Tutors: Our tutors come from strong academic backgrounds, including graduates of some of NSW’s top Selective Schools. They understand the skills and challenges involved in OC preparation and help students develop effective learning strategies for the OC Test.
Individual Feedback: Learning doesn't stop when the class ends. Tutors are available for up to 20 minutes after each lesson to answer questions and clarify concepts. Parents can also speak directly with tutors about their child's understanding, progress and areas for improvement.
Learning Support Beyond the Classroom: Students can access a range of additional support, including academic consultations, homework assistance, personalised writing feedback, worked solutions and extra practice materials to help reinforce what they've learned in class.
